Faversham is one of Britain's finest heritage towns with nearly 500 listed
buildings from the 13th to the 20th centuries. The town contains the oldest
gunpowder mills in the world, the oldest brewery in Britain and the largest
collection of fruit tree varieties, housed at the Brogdale centre. On Tuesdays,
Fridays and Saturdays there is a street market which is the oldest in Kent,
going back over 900years.

Whitstable is a delightful and popular harbour town, famous for its oysters
and other sea foods, as well as a vibrant arts scene. Although the town has
a rich maritime history, present day events such as the International Water-ski
Championships, Oyster Festival and the Thames Barge Regatta, draw crowds throughout
the summer.
France The Lees is ideally situated for people travelling to or from France, being situated less than 30 minutes from the ferries at Dover and the Channel Tunnel at Folkestone, and 60 minutes from London.
